Mr Cameron Elias-Jones

Mr Cameron Elias-Jones is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder pathology.

Mr Elias-Jones undertook his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2005. He entered into the orthopaedic training programme within the West of Scotland completing his training in 2016. Following this, Mr Elias-Jones undertook a fellowship at the Nottingham Elective Orthopaedic Services unit, specialising in complex shoulder and elbow surgery and also wide awake surgery.  He was appointed as a consultant at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2017.

Mr Elias-Jones is a specialist in all facets of shoulder pathology - both surgical and non surgical management. His interest in wide awake surgery allows patients to benefit from reduced complications associated with general anaesthesia facilitating earlier discharge; but also helps the patient to better visualise and understand their pathology.
