Prof Al-Aissami qualified in 1985 from Aleppo University. In 1989 qualified as a general surgeon at Damascus university. Mr Al-Aissami was trained in several plastic surgery units, mainly Canniesburn Plastic Surgery unit in Glasgow, and qualified in the UK as a Plastic Surgeon in 2008. Mr Al-Aissami worked for many years within the NHS before leaving overseas to join various academic teams within various universities. During his career, Mr Al-Aissami was involved in many research projects, obtaining research degrees in Glasgow University and other overseas universities.
Mr Al-Aissami progressed in his career to become a professor in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Mr Al-Aissami has more than 22 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
