Mr Wilson graduated from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester. He undertook surgical training in the North West of England and the West of Scotland followed by a high volume complex and revision arthroplasty fellowship at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Mr Wilson’s NHS consultant practice is dedicated to providing high volume hip and knee replacement surgery in NHS Forth Valley. Using a personalised approach he is able to tailor treatment leading to excellent outcomes.
Mr Wilson has a keen interest in research and has presented his work both nationally and internationally. He is also committed to education having organised and led teaching programmes and courses.
Mr Wilson was honoured to be selected for the British Orthopaedic Association Leadership Programme. This unique programme has allowed Mr Wilson to drive and initiate positive changes in practice. In his spare time Mr Wilson enjoys skiing, running, cycling and spending time with his wife and young family.
