Mr Matthew Rewhorn
Mr Matthew Rewhorn is a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Lead for Urology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Clyde sector.
He specialises in Andrology, relating to Men’s health and the surgical treatment of the penis and scrotum. He is one of three Consultant urologists providing treatment in rare genital cancers and andrology in the West of Scotland.
Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh, he completed his surgical and urology training in the West of Scotland, before undertaking a fellowship at the world renowned institute of Andrology at University College London. Under the tutelage of Professor Asif Muneer and Professor David Ralph, Matthew honed his surgical ability in complex penile reconstruction, Penile and Testicular Cancer, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease.
Matthew is an active researcher and advocate for Men’s health issues. His work is presented at National and international level, publishing peer reviewed articles and has written book chapters.
