Mr David Arnot

Dr David Arnot is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at St John’s Hospital, Livingston, with expertise in general gynaecology, obstetrics, benign gynaecological surgery, and antenatal care. Alongside his consultant role, he is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and continues to practise within NHS Lothian’s Unscheduled Care Service.

A graduate of the University of Edinburgh and the University of St Andrews, Dr Arnot has a strong interest in medical education, leadership, and service development. He completed a Clinical Leadership Fellowship with the Scottish Government and NHS Education for Scotland and has contributed to healthcare workforce initiatives, medical education, and published research throughout his career.
